They link to 64 bit versions for cocoa and linux but not for windows. I tried in vain to find the “official” way to get from to this download but alas, no luck. Seems to be get a decent performance boost in Vista 64 bit as well!Īnd can finally run eclipse with more than 1,2 Gb in windows! :-)

Have looked how to do this but as you only found some old forum questions about this… :-( I just assumed eclipse wouldn’t care about the pointer width of the underlying JVM and hence tried to run the 32bit eclipse on a 64bit JVM.
